Horticulturist Consultations

Horticultural Services Available

Before digging that hole, it's important to understand a few basics. Jason Bowen, Horne Creek Farm's horticulturist, can help you determine:

  • How to choose a good location to plant treesan apple tree stem overloaded with many red ripe apples
  • Where to go for soil testing
  • Type of tree: free standing or espaliered
  • What heirloom variety is best for your needs
  • Time of year to plant
  • General tree care
