Christmas Groaning Board at the James Iredell House at Historic Edenton

Event Description

On December 13 & 14, from 1-5pm, Historic Edenton State Historic Site will be hosting a Christmas Groaning Board at the 1800/1827 Iredell House with help from the Edenton Tea Party DAR, the James Iredell Association, and the Friends of Historic Sites Edenton. There will be so many cookies that the table will "groan" under the weight!

With living history demonstrations in the Iredell yard, a Christmas time craft in the Bandon Schoolhouse, and a historic cooking demonstration in the Bandon Kitchen.

Come and listen to your favorite holiday songs, sip a festive holiday drink, and sample delicious homemade cookies. The house is tastefully decorated with natural greenery that changes year to year.
