Time for history, music and fun!

Join us for our Annual Cornshucking Frolic at Horne Creek Farm State Historic Site

Saturday, October 17 from 10 am - 5pm.

Admission fees are as follows:

Adults: $8.00, Children 6 - 12: $5.00, & Children 5 & Under: Free.

Heritage demonstrations and activities are sure to please every member of the family from young to old. Quilting, basket weaving, knitting, wagon rides, blacksmithing, grist mill demonstration, log hewing, cooking demonstration, plowing, chair caning, apple butter & molasses demonstrations, displays of quilts and antique farm equipment, information on the Hauser and Sawyers families, plus much more.

Food Available during the day for a nominal fee: Chicken Stew, BBQ, Ham Biscuits, Pintos & Cornbread, Fried Pies, Sonkers, Ice Cream, and Beverages.

Horne Creek Farm's Southern Heritage Apple Orchard sells heirloom apples and trees grown at our historic site.

No pets (other than service animals) allowed.

No alcoholic beverages allowed
