Taverns and Trolley Beer Tour at Historic Edenton

Event Description

It’s North Carolina Beer Month and Historic Edenton State Historic Site is offering the Taverns and Trolley Tour with a special historical beer brewing demonstration included!

This year, the Taverns and Trolley Tour will leave from the Historic Sites Visitor Center, 108 N. Broad Street at 3:30pm. This brief, narrated trolley tour includes learning about the historical taverns and local highlights of Edenton before making a 15 minute stop for a NC craft beer tasting at Waterman's Bar and Grill. Back aboard the trolley for additional 15 minutes of touring, before making a second craft beer sampling stop at Edenton Bay Trading Co. The trolley will return to the Historic Sites Visitor Center around 4:45 PM. Then, a historic interpreter will conduct a 15 minute demonstration of Colonial Beer Brewing at the James Iredell House Kitchen. Once the tour is over, you’re on your own to revisit your favorite watering hole for additional beer and refreshments, or you might want to make reservations at one of Edenton’s fine dining establishments.

Tickets are $20.00 per person and can be bought or reserved at Historic Edenton State Historic Site, 108 N. Broad Street. Final payment will be due before the tour leaves, CASH OR CHECK ONLY.
