Join us at Bennett Place State Historic Site for our Civil War School Days program on April 17, 2024. Students rotate through multiple stations where Historic Sites staff and costumed living historians demonstrate what it was like for soldiers and civilians to live through the American Civil War. Experience how soldiers trained, how people mailed letters through the postal service, learn about Civil War era medicine, and much more!

On December 16th from 10am-4pm, Bennett Place will holding our annual Christmas in the Piedmont during the Civil War event. Witness how Soldiers and Civilians try to keep there spirits up during four years of war. On going living history will be happening around the farm, Also Santa will be in the Parlor of the Bennett house to meet and greet visitors, and you can tell him what you want for Christmas.
