AFTER MUCH DELIBERATION AND DISCUSSION, THE MEMBERS OF THE SUPPORT GROUP MADE THE DIFFICULT DECISION TO POSTPONE THE EVENT AGAIN THIS YEAR DUE TO THE CONTINUED ISSUES RELATED TO THE PANDEMIC. SAFETY IS THEIR PRIORITY AND THEY FELT THEY COULDN'T DO THAT WITH THE DELTA STRAIN ON THE RISE. THIS EVENT IS IMPORTANT TO THEM AND WILL BE HELD NEXT YEAR IN SEPTEMBER. BE ON THE LOOK-OUT FOR THE DATE AND STAY SAFE
Enjoy the lovely cool fall weather with a plate of delicious BBQ prepared by Mr. Al Meyers, some local beer and the sounds of blues music by Mel Melton & the Wicked Mojos. The Bennett Place Support Fund is sponsoring this event to help raise money for the upgrades and expansion of the visitor center at Bennett Place. Tickets are $25.00 per person (15 and older) which includes BBQ, 2 sides and roll plus your drink. For those ages 10-14 cost will be $15.00 per person and 9 and under is $5.00. Soda and water are also available for those who wish as well as for those under 21. Tickets will be available starting on August 1st. Take out is also available. A plate of BBQ with 2 sides and a roll is available for $12.00 per plate
