Black Heritage Day: An Afro-Classical Celebration

-

Music was an important part of life for Dr. Charlotte Hawkins Brown. To honor her birthday, we're partnering with the Greensboro Opera to host Black Heritage Day! Join us to listen to local musicians and a very special performance by Chrystal E. Williams and Felipe Hostins, enjoy food from local Black owned food trucks, and take a stroll through our Black owned vendor market. There will be activity stations for kids and art! Our MC for the event will be DJ VC Qrush & Mrs. B, and we'll have performances by the Otesha Creative Arts Ensemble and the All American Jazz Collective.
