Explore the early 19th century customs that would have followed after the death of an influential man. Daytime activities, will include themed tours of the Alston House, family friendly activities, and living history interpreters. Free, 10:00-2:00.

Evening tours 5:30-7:00.

Lit by candlelight, guided evening tours of "Retreat" the residence of Gov. Williams at the time of his death will explore treating the sick, funeral practices, and a moment of solemn reflection. Tours are scheduled every 15 minutes, 10 visitors per tour. Parental discretion is advised for children under 12.
