Each week--from Jan. 7, 2023, to Feb. 23, 2023--one of the partner sites will host a tour, lecture, or living history program to highlight a unique portion of history of the Wilmington Campaign. The series kicks off Saturday, January 7, 2023, with special guided tours of Fort Fisher at 11 am, 1:30 pm, and 3 pm. The program aims to expand our community's understanding and appreciation for the diverse people swept up in the struggle for southeast North Carolina. Tour tickets are $5 per person and may be purchased on the day of the event. The educational series continues Saturday, January 8, 2023, at 3 pm with Fort Fisher interpreter Kaitlin O'Connor presenting 'Tis Grand to Know': People of the Wilmington Campaign at the New Hanover County Library Main Branch. The library presentation is free and open to the public. Stay tuned for more information on the series.
