“Grafting for the Future” Workshop. Horne Creek Living Historical Farm.
Come and learn how to graft an apple tree. Jason Bowen, Horne Creek Farm’s horticulturist, will be on hand to share his knowledge of southern apple varieties and conduct a grafting seminar. At the end of the day all participants will take their tree, grafted from one of the orchard’s 425 heirloom varieties, home with them. Class size is limited. Participants must be 16 or older.
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Fee: $50.00.
