Join Susie Worcester in our Historic Kitchen House as she recreates historic foods from the North Carolina backcountry. Susie uses historic receipts to make her food preparation as authentic as possible.
The receipts for this demonstration will include onion "pye," planked fish, beggars pudding along with homemade egg noodles. We may break open the supplies we put away before winter and add some pickled eggs or other veggies to our table.
