The James K. Polk State Historic Site offers a special activity 10 a.m. Jan. 15 for home school students ages 6-12.
Join us for an hour-long program on traditional fiber crafts in James K. Polk’s time! We will be making construction paper quilts and learning about sewing, knitting, quilting, and tatting!
Parents can register students by emailing the site at polk@dncr.nc.gov or calling at (704) 889-7145. Cost is $5 per person.
