The annual battle reenactment of the Tory and Whig skirmish at House in the Horseshoe. This one day event will highlight the struggles of the backcountry as the Revolutionary War engulfed North Carolina.
Battle will take place at 2:00. Saturday only. Activities and 18th Century demonstrations throughout the day.
$5 parking, cash only.

10:00- Opening Ceremony, Sandhills Chapter SAR
11:30- Militia Demonstration
12:30- Presentation “Beasts of Prey” by William Caldwell
2:00- Battle Reenactment at Alston House
4:00- Event Concludes
18th Century trades, demonstrations, and displays, militia camps, and Alston House tours are available all day.
