In cooperation with the CSS Neuse II and the CSS Neuse Foundation, the CSS Neuse Civil War Interpretive Center and the CSS Neuse Gunboat Association are going to host "Ironclad Saturday", a living history event on board the replica ironclad, CSS Neuse II.
Living Historians will spend the weekend on the CSS Neuse II, and it will be open on Saturday between 10am and 4pm. During the day, the “crew” will be conducting all different types of events such as musket drill, cannon drill, cutlass drill, pay call, navigation demonstrations, sailor sewing, and sailor games/pastimes.
There will be NO CHARGE to the public for this event.
