Join us at Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson State Historic Site on Saturday, April 22nd for a living history demonstration of the production of tar, pitch and turpentine. Tar production will begin around 11am and another will begin at 1:30pm. Pitch and turpentine production will be continued throughout the day. Visitors will get a chance to learn about the components of naval stores and their importance to the area.
This is a free event for all ages.
