Join us at the Governor Richard Caswell Memorial as we honor Caswell’s long service as a political leader of the British colony and the fledgling State of North Carolina. A living history event will take place with members of the Dobbs County Militia reenactment group, showing how they prepared for the coming conflict with Great Britain. The Dobbs County men will portray camp life and present musket and cannon firing demonstrations of the Revolutionary War period.
