Join us on Saturday, April 30 10am-3pm to learn about 19th century farm life. Enjoy the smell of pork shoulders cooking on a barbecue pit. Watch as historic interpreters shear sheep. Get a hands-on experience in skirting the wool. See demonstrations of carding and spinning wool into yarn. Then get your hands dirty working in a garden. Interact with historic interpreters as they weave baskets, make rope, and practice the art of blacksmithing. Also, visit with our friends from the Wayne County Public Library and learn about the exciting opportunities and programs they offer.
