A woman stands in front of a fire at twilight surrounded by people in chairs listening to her speak. The firelight illuminates the autumn leaves of the surrounding trees.
Join us this October to get into the spirit of Halloween with spooky stories from Appalachia and beyond. Dr. Delanna Reed, a member of the Jonesborough Storytellers Guild and professor at East Tennessee State University, will bring these tales to life through spoken word. Visitors can bring a blanket or a chair and, as the sun sets, take a seat around our campfire. These stories are suitable for ages 12 and up.
This event is free, although donations are encouraged. The program will be held outdoors, weather permitting.
