Come support local Charlotte artists and learn about the history of the land, people, and contested meanings of the Polk site. Listen to spoken word performances, watch live painting performances, and hear live music with community friends and neighbors.
Afterwards, the live paintings will be on display in the Site's visitor's center.
This event is made possible through collaboration with Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation.
