Rules & Guidelines for Media Credentials
Photographers/Reporters
All photographers and reporters will be asked to sign a photo release form upon arrival on the historic site grounds. Our press team will notify photographers when any further restrictions or modifications are reenacted. Photographers who are granted a media credential and photo media pass must agree to abide by all reenactment policies. Only one photo pass per day/per media outlet will be allowed. A photo pass does not allow access to the battlefield.
Credential Pick-Up
Confirmation of your approved press credentials will be sent via email, along with further instructions for obtaining your credentials. Media check-in will be located in the information tent in front of the visitor center. No credentials will be mailed in advance; all media must check in to receive passes.
Parking
There will be no designated parking for media except satellite trucks.
Liability Waiver
All media attending the re-enactment and using the staged areas must sign a liability waiver, releasing the state's historic site from liability while filming or photographing during the event.
Walk to the Battlefields
Please be aware that on Saturday, the walk from the Visitor Center to the battlefield is approximately .25 of a mile. On Sunday, expect the walk to be .5 miles from the Visitor Center. Be prepared with comfortable shoes and arrive at least 30-45 minutes prior to the battle to get into position.
