Summer is on the way and we are proud to present our third annual Black Heritage Day! This celebration of Black life, history, and culture is presented in honor of Dr. Charlotte Hawkins Brown's birthday and will be hosted Saturday June 14, 2025. From 11am-3pm across the entire campus of the Charlotte Hawkins Brown Museum enjoy music, food, art, and explore the vast Black history across North Carolina Historic Sites. Black History Month Tours: February 1, 15, and 22
Women's History Month Tours: March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

School Supply Drive: July 1- August 31

Take a tour of Canary Cottage and learn about Dr. Brown and the fight towards equal and women's right to vote. These tours are offered on Saturdays in March at the following times:
