Join us at Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson State Historic Site on Saturday, April 12th for a living history demonstration that focuses on the Women who worked and lived at the port of Brunswick.
As we commemorate the 160th anniversary of the fall of Fort Anderson, the night sky will come alive with a realistic reenactment of the bombardment and evacuation of the Fort. This event will be a rare opportunity to witness a heavy artillery duel.
Learn more about the creation and commemoration of Memorial Day as well as individuals who have paid the ultimate price while serving their country. Tours at 11:00 and 3:00 on Saturdays in May, excluding May 31.
Join us as we commemorate the 160th anniversary of the largest Civil War surrender at Bennett Place! The program features costumed living history and community table displays.
