Our first high school homeschool day prom will take place on May 21, 2022, at the CSS Neuse Civil War Interpretive Center. The event will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. High school homeschoolers ages 14-19 are welcome to attend.

We invite you to a dinner theater event about the love story of Anna Jackson and Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson. Kelly Hinson, who will perform as Anna Jackson in "Reflected Glory: Letters to Anna," a one-woman performance based on Jackson's accounts, will perform the play in full mourning attire over the catered dinner. Guests will learn how Anna and Jackson met and married and the heartache that Anna endured after Jackson died.

A special unveiling of the final set of permanent exhibits for the CSS Neuse Civil War Interpretive Center will be held on March 11, 2022, by the CSS Neuse Gunboat Association.

The event costs $50 per person and is limited to 100 attendees.

Join staff and volunteers in celebrating the holidays from 10 am to 2 pm on December 4th! Learn about some of the mid-19th century holiday traditions while making Christmas ornaments.

Cookies and cider are available while supplies last. All ages are welcome and admission and crafts are free.
