Horne Creek's Christmas by Lamplight offers an evening filled with the warmth and beauty of a rural turn-of-the-century farmhouse. Take a few hours away to reflect on the holiday season. You’ll enjoy caroling, a craft project, and readings from the period. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served. Our special program makes heartwarming holiday memories with your friends and family. One must purchase tickets in advance. This is not a program recommended for children under 11 years of age. Spaces are limited, don’t miss out on this popular evening.

Horne Creek Farm is excited to announce that we will be holding our "Fantastical World of Fairy Tales and Houses" workshop on Saturday, August 28 from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. Bring your child out to the site to listen to some of the 1900-era’s most beloved fairy tales. Then, each child’s imagination can take wing as they make their own fairy house to take home with them. Fee is $25.00. This fee also includes a variety of fairy snacks to enjoy.

Women of the early 20th century worked equally as hard as their husbands on their family farms. Come and learn about the skills they had to employ to run a successful household and farm. You’ll leave at the end of the tour with a great respect for them and the lives they led.
