Join Horne Creek Farm for our annual Cornshucking Frolic on Saturday, October 19th from 10 am - 5pm. The day will highlight history, heritage crafts, music, and fun!

Come out to the farm and learn about Horne Creek's Gulf Coast Native Sheep. Then, watch as staff and volunteers shear some of our wooly friends for the spring.
Shearing will take place two times on the 27th: 10:00 am - 11:45 am and 1:30 pm - 2:45 pm.
Come out and learn how to graft an apple tree. Jason Bowen, Horne Creek Farm’s horticulturist, will be on hand to share his knowledge of southern apple varieties and conduct a grafting seminar. Jason will lead you through the process of splicing dormant scion wood and root stocks.

Horne Creek Farm is excited to announce that we will be holding our "Fantastical World of Fairy Tales and Houses" workshop on Saturday, August 28 from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. Bring your child out to the site to listen to some of the 1900-era’s most beloved fairy tales.
