Every Saturday in July Alamance Battleground is telling the life of Jemima Merrill. Each week follows a theme around her life in an effort to tell the life story of a a regular person in the 18th century. Each day will included living history programing and a times talk about points in Jemima's life. The themes are, Birth, Purpose, religion, and Death. Please join us to elevate the ordinary and to learn about this important person.

On Saturday, May 18th Alamance Battleground will host a reenactment of the 1771 Battle of Alamance. Visitors will experience the smoke and power of six cannons firing against protesting farmers in the violent conclusion to the Regulator movement.

Join us for a day of outdoor recreation, music, and history, as Alamance Battleground officially opens the Memorial Trail, a brand new half mile trail winding through recently acquired land. Ribbon cutting will take place at 10 a.m., and the Hawfield Jammers will play at 11 a.m.
