This program highlights experiences of enslaved and newly freed people through storytelling, music, and luminaries.

Explore, enjoy, and experience the Christmas season at Somerset Place for the 34th Annual Christmas Open House on Sunday, December 1st, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. This year's Christmas Open House will be held in honor of former site employee Tad Howington.Be inspired by traditional holiday decorations of fresh natural and floral arrangements adorning the exterior and interior of site buildings. Explore the plantation on a self-guided tour with staff members and volunteers available to answer questions.
